A Royal Invitation

The project was lucky enough to gain an invite to Buckingham Palace to celebrate Garfield and Weston’s Foundation 60th Anniversary Party in the presence of the Prince of Wales.  The Foundation is a valued supporter of Durham City Youth Project and currently supports our Duke of Edinburgh session’s helping young people gain employability skills through volunteering, learning new skills and pushing boundaries on camping and hiking expeditions.

Tesco Durham kindly supported DCYP in allowing us to do a  “bucket collection” which raised funds for our Duke of Edinburgh Award.


DCYP has been awarded the commission by Durham County Council for a Mobile Sexual Health Unit,
to visit areas in County Durham….call in for cuppa and chat it would be great to see you.
